Out of nothing and not that long ago, I started taking sort of minimal street photos, looking after composition, shadows, colors, lines... Although Asian cities are overloaded and busy, what I try to show with my photos is, a quiet, tidy and colorful moment, everything has to be on its place. It's an obsession, something must match in my photos. Framing the ordinary and the unnoticed, because every corner can be beautiful.
Víctor Morante
Hi there! Víctor here, I consider myself a long-term wanderer and a passionate about street photography, great combination to satisfy my innate curiosity. It’s been quite long already traveling across SEA, currently I’m Chiang Mai, Thailand.
My passion for street photography started a couple of years ago, back in Bangkok using a borrowed Nikon D3100. I instantly felt attracted to it and since then, I have never stopped exploring and photographing the streets in my own and personal way. Unfortunately the first year, due to lack of a camera, couldn’t actually take photos, I seriously began taking photos a year ago, using my current camera, Nikon D3000.
I’m obsessed with the composition, as you can see I look after shadows, colors, lines, minimal background and of course, a subject in the frame in order to give that sense of humanity.
The ongoing project “THAILAND” is being updated constantly.
